SpaceCruiser Considering how racist Zenit are, how can anyone want them to win? But then, it's unsurprising that TBM wants them to win as he's one himself.

SpaceCruiser Xenophobia is different from racism. At least Rangers have had a few Englishmen in their team in the past whereas Zenit have never signed a black man.

It's not unusual for this to happen. When Liverpool won the UEFA Cup a few years back, I and a few Reading fans missed out on watching that because we were so busy watching the legendary Reading 2-1 win over Wigan to send us through to the play-off final.....

12 min: "After their first Euro win was ruined by a riot, could Rangers be the first team to win a trophy and have it withheld due to their fans choice of song?" wonders Div. "So far today on TV we've had The Billy Boys, The Sash, Derry's Walls and the new dodgy 'the famine's over, why don't you go home' song, as sung to Irishman Noel Hunt on Saturday, and the entire Celtic support in previous weeks." As Alan Partridge once said about us Irish, not Noel Hunt in particular: "If they could afford to emigrate during the famine, surely they could afford to eat in a modestly priced Chinese restaurant?"
