Not even on BBC yet, this must've happened recently. What a joke, man takes them to within an inch of the European Cup and 2 points of the title after inheriting a squad half of which hated him, and gets sacked. A farce of a club.

Those days are gone my friend, but I remember those days fondly. £10 to get in the shed and if you got there early enough you could sit in the West Stand benches.

For a club full of fans who sing an ex-managers name and boo the current manager, I'm personally glad.
I liked Avram Grant, a nice decent character, and he can do better than Chelsea. Any other club looking for a manager should see how great he did at Chelsea.
Can't wait for Chelsea to plummet with their next manager (hopefully).

I"m pleased. He was the only reason to part tolerate Chelsea.

The Israel media apparently made a fair bit of claiming his lack of popularity was probably down to anti-semitism. It'll be interesting to see how they report the reaction to his sacking.
