Big decision for a big game.

That's Capello - when a big decision needs to be made...
He will not shirk, or bend.

Worth the 5m a year.

He would only have burst into tears if he wasn't captain. Capello probably didn't want a scene.

I did hear that no Reading players cried when they were relegated as they don't care about the club and none of them are Reading through and through.

I'm not surprised. I've been told by someone who knows that over the past few months (i.e. since the England captaincy has been up for grabs) that JT's on-field behaviour - towards referees, at least - has been massively better.

Just goes to show that he can do it if he wants to!

Can't say that was in evidence in the Champs League final, though, Dirk.

voyeur Does he spit at Tevez there?

I think Drogba could be the spitter and Terry merely a verbal abuser.

Bizarre decision, but Capello has obviously seen something he likes. Let’s hope England’s players stay out of trouble, or we might see the unwelcome sight of an England captain bellowing inches from a referee’s face and manhandling him.

How is this even a news story? It's well known that Capello would let Gerrard, Ferdinand and Terry take a turn at being captain. He'd then see how they do and decide his full time captain based on who impressed him.

This is just Terry's turn.
