ShrewsandRoyals Villa have rejected shirt sponsorship and instead will be promoting the Acorns Children's Hospice on their shirts next season.
The idea came from their owner following a visit (at around Christmas time I believe). The players have also been actively supporting the charity which provides breaks for children with long term care needs as well as caring for the terminally ill kids at their three centres in The Midlands.
A bloomin' big well done.

I'm sure Chelsea, Arsenal , Man Utd and Blackburn give to charities in other ways.

Hoop BlahKes and without the need for a PR exercise.
The point is to raise awareness for the charity and it's work.
A bit pointless if they don't publicise the whole thing don't you think?
