Objectionable people in football.

by blade 1 » 05 Jul 2009 14:10

Aside from the obvious (Cashleys / terrys etc) are there any people you cant stand in football for little or no good reason?

Mine are

Phil Brown - bearded umpa lumpa of a man. If just for the singing at the end of last year alone when they hadn't done anything to warrent staying up since well before christmas.

Dave Whelan - rent a quote chairman, whoreing his players out to the highest bidder at every oppertunity and apparantly indefinatly on tv giving his two penneth.

Daniel Levy - Bitching about big clubs stealing his players when he hoovers up all the you talent in the country when they are little more than foetus's just to let them rot in the reserves.

Steve Bruce

There are some fantatic quotes from Brown early season, talking about their rivals being the likes of Villa and Everton and them targeting top 4 teams to pick off. Twat of the highest order.

Lawrie Sanchez as well. Just when he was at Wycombe, all he talked about was us and what a great job he'd do as manager. So happy when he got shown up at Fulham.

Can't believe no mention of Colin yet.

For me it would have to be Harry Redknapp and Sam Alladyce. Can't stand the shits.

Colin deserves the honorable mention for reasons obvious to all.

Owen Coyle is starting to grate on me. Has rarely been complimentary about us all season, and particularly after the 1-0 defeat in October his post match comments were so obviously wide of the mark it was incredible.

Stephen Hunt - disloyal, dishonest, money grabbing bastard of the highest order.

Anyone who plays for Celtic.

Peter Kenyon is, AFAIC, the football anti-Christ. His work at "building multi-national brands" and so on has done as much as anything to take football to where it is today.

When he was at Manchester United his behaviour made them the most hated team in football. Then, lo and behold, he moves to Chelsea and all the worst excesses seem to move with him. Now people like Man Utd a lot more but universally hate Chelsea. Coincidence????

Colin's a legend!

I forgot Rob Green. Smug red nosed c*ck.

Always seems to have a pop at us, plays for west ham and had the gall to complain when he fell over our three foot defender and dropped the ball and then got the goal disallowed (which would have kept us up) and he's a massively over rated keeper.

Ron Futcher.

He is a cancer on the sport that I love.

Honerable mentions for Colin Moynihan and Annie Bassett.

No beef whatsoever with Sidwell. Yes he publicly stated he wanted a move, but before he got it he still gave maximum effort and effectiveness.

none of those have been c*nts of the highest order while at RFC. Kitson didn't cover himself in glory with his comments but never publicly stated he wanted to move. Shorey wanted to move but still got on with the job professionally, and Sidwell played the season of his life in 06/07 when he was always going to move. I have no beef whatsoever with the way they have gone about engineering their moves, but Stephen Hunt's constant bleating in the press over the last year have, IMO, merely added weight to almost every football fan in the country views (apart from some RFC fans views) that he is a little sh*t.
