Pardew for Saints?

by Victor Meldrew » 16 Jul 2009 20:15

Now that the front runners of Coppell and Strachan no longer seem to be on their radar the rumour is that they are going for the cheap option especially as the board have come to their senses and realised that Tony Adams would be a non-starter on many levels.
The fans around this way are just desperate for somebody to be appointed and put an end to the player exodus with McGoldrick.Wright-Phillips,Dyer and Surman gone followed possibly by Lallana (sp?).
Kelvin Davis is staying and they see that as a plus.
Is this not just about the highest level for Mr Hype?
I dread to think how he would get on if (like at Charlton) there is no money to spend.

I think Pards would do a good job there. After all, he has experience of getting a club promoted from that level.

Good move for Saints, and yet another LOL @ Pardew who left Reading for a better team to manage all those years ago. Where are you now?

I'm sure he gives a shiny shite about your interpretation of his so-called demise.
He's now at Southampton, by the way.

Good to see that Pardew has described Southampton as "immense" - which makes a difference from his usual "massive" or even "massive, massive".

He could be talking about the debt or the size of the task ahead of him, I suppose.

I tip Southampton to bounce straight back to the Championship at the first attempt.

Well I'm sure Pards can use all his wealth of t shirts to pull southampton out of the fire.

Wonder what they'll say on them?

'Out on the Le Tis'?

Or

'The Monkou-se that Matt built'?

Or?

'Saved by the Dell'?

Seriously, could you give the use of capital letters a go some time? You're a grown man for goodness sake.
