Why is that so bad? It's a whole lot better for them than Usmanov. At least Kronke thinks long-term, even though he cares for nothing except money.

Maybe they will now start spending large amounts of money on players like Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs do.

If Wenger decided to use some financial muscle alongside his tried and trusted means it could be a bit scary.

Add in 2 or 3 big money buys to the stable he already has and I suspect they would be a dominant force for quite a few years.

On the brink" certainly has negative connotations.

I'd argue on the contrary here Dirkers - on the brink can be, and has been, used for positive and negative circumstances. Couldn't think of a more apt way of putting it myself to be honest, could be the start of either a very good or bad era for the club.

And you deliberately misspelt Kroenke too, I notice.

First up will be a new striker in January followed by a tough tackling midfielder

I can see Fabregas going in the Summer but Ramsey will slot in just fine.

Thaumagurist* I hope Arseholes go heavily into debt and freefall down the league.

Van Rapist is injured!

 Why did i even bother opening this thread up to read Spacey's reply.

Care to explain why Spacey? - Arsenal dont spend big, they play lovely football, they bring youngsters through into the game like no other club and have a great man in charge developing players that can only be a good thing for England in the future.

I have a Spurs supporting friend that gets really angry everytime people remind him that their near neighbours have continually spent less in the transfer market and less on wages than Spurs yet are a better team year after year after year.
