Long sleeve vs Short Sleeve shirts

I preferred long sleeve when I played (no t-shirt underneath and never gloves)... but then we didn't have Under Armour.

Wearing a short sleeved shirt doesn't instantly say "Look at me, I've got a big cock" ...btw

Wear whatever you want ffs.

Long sleeves tucked back inside up past the elbow so to have it at three quarter length.

As a 'southerner' I was made to wear just a top, shorts, socks and boots - even when it was - 40'C on the pitch or playing field. We weren't allowed any sort of underwear. Then we had to luxury of trying to get dressed in changing room at sub arctic temperatures and showers that dispensed water at just above 4'C.

Mind you, it kept you fit because you knew that if you stopped running for any length of time, hypothermia would set in.

Short sleeves. I find I'm forever moving the cuff of a long sleeve shirt because nowhere is comfortable on my arm.

In winter - Long sleeved, underarmour, gloves

In summer - Long sleeves rolled up

I do not like being cold.

'greed. Never managed to play for a club that owned a set of short sleeve shirts. One team, we came up against, had a bag of communal jock straps.

can't stand people who wear gloves on the pitch unless of course they play in goal

if we had short sleeve shirts as an option i'd wear that, if not long sleeves rolled up

Indeed, and I am now recalling the horrors of rummaging through the cricket team kit bag looking for the first aid bag and finding the communal box.
