The FA Cup Final Thread

by Zammo » 13 May 2010 12:34

I've never known an FA Cup Final to be treated with as much apathy as this one. It'll be a national disgrace if Portsmouth win it. And seriously, does anyone really care if Chelsea do the double ?!

It's very likely that the only live action I will catch of this game, is when I'm browsing through the technology section at my local Sainsbury's.

Won't watch a minute I dare say.

Guy here has put a small wager on Chelsea recording a record score for a cup final.

If Portsmouth win it will be a disgrace.
If Chelsea win it will be another step towards them trying to claim they are a big club

I won't be watching

I'll be watching it and I'll take a Chelsea v Portsmouth final over a Man Utd v Arsenal final every time.

I'm looking forward to Portsmouth being completely humilated.

Just going off what soggy biscuit was saying up the thread.

Bury have won a major trophy, so they're a bigger club than Reading.

LOL!!

It's not my fault Reading fans have some deluded idea how big a club they are.

Next you'll be telling me Reading are a bigger club than the likes of Plymouth.

Plymouth average for the season 10,316

Reading average for the season 17,400.

Its clear from this alone Plymouth are a bigger club.

PLymouth historically have always been a bigger club than Reading. Or are you only counting from about 2005 onwards?

Not sure on that one. Years ago, yes. But...

Chelsea have won the league three more times
and the FA Cup four more times

but Forest do have those two European Cups.

so Chelsea inch ahead.
