Paul, the psychic octopus says Spain are going to win and he's been right so far, so I'm going with him.

Archie's penalty I <3 the German national anthem.

Me too - my second favourite national anthem (after le marseillaise)

Oh and it would be good to see the best two teams in the competition meet in the final.

I met a guy in Lion park, Johannesburg almost two weeks ago. We were quereing up there, and as Japan beat Denmark a night before, he started to talk to me and cheered our progress to last 16.
Then he feel sorry to France and Cameroon which he said he has a dual passport of those countries. Those two team has gone out of the competition by that time. We talked that those teams have good players making success in Europe and just did not work as a team this time and so on.
He said he has watched many games in stadium in this World Cup and he mostly impressed how Germany's system works.
Before we apart after the chat of 10 min or more, he mantioned me that he works as a coach of one of the US women's national yourh team.
I was a bit embaress to know that I was talking with Professional person, but he was just friendly gentleman and I felt so fulfilled to share the time with him (in the queue).

After his conversation, I have known that Germany will most likely to win this tournament.
Germany 2-0 Spain

I wonder how many times a fixture is billed as the game of the tournament yet fails to live up to expectations? Hopefully, this will not fall into that category. I am really looking forward to the best team in the tournament against, potentially, the best footballing side. And, I hope Germany win tonight.

Not really sure what to make of this one. Spain have stuttered but are clearly class at heart - Torress is holding them back though. Germany have been excellent yet still strike me as vulnerable at the back. No Thomas Moeller this evening either.

Which way will it go? Who knows - I don't foresee a goal fest though so will take Spain 1-0.
