As for £3.5m - I would bite their hand off for that amount of money, escpecially if Matt Taylor is on his way.

I think it quite possible that Sunderland could well make a bid but Hunt is under contract and we do not have to accept such a bid.

He has been an integral player for us since promotion, and only a massive tool would ignore that fact. I totally agree. Most of the Hunt knockers have probably never even been to a game at the Madstad. Or they have no idea about football. Hunt has been great for us and I would not sell him for £5M let alone £3M. What is the point of selling a player when you have no certainty of being able to get a better replacement for the money.

My comment about Hunt was that with the 3.5 m we could go for a more skillfull player, as we learnt with Hughes 100% effort is n´t enough when we wanted to move onto the next higher stage. Hunt has done well but he does not have enough skill, to push us onwards. We must lift the quality of the squad, at the moment we have a squad that has about 16 or 17 players of the same standard, we now have to look for quality.
