Not a bad shout.

Quite a skilful flying winger from the snippets I've seen. Can he handle Prem football though?

I'd rather we pinched Larsson from them if we could to be honest.

Crickey despite them being below us in the table, man for man they have a better squad than us - De Ridder is great player, Larsson, Muamba that scottish forward, i'd have all of them!!

Cameron Jerome vs Shane Long as 4th choice forward too (although Shane's probably been 3rd choice for us)

He'll prob end up at Wigan or abroad. Can't really see him wanting to come to us or us even looking at him tbh.

No mention of any clubs looking at him. He'll probably go back to Holland.

Have you got one of those kidney-catching devices you can pick up at the door at Jongleurs?

There was a story last week, I think on the BBC site, that Steve Bruce was looking at taking him to Wigan.

McLeish obviously didn't fancy him as he played the vast majority of his Birmingham games before Bruce left.

More like the fact that he was signed on premiership wages and they're trimming the bill I reckon. Presumably your comment was a poor attempt to reference our supposed lack of ambition, but all you've done is show that the other relegated clubs are thinking the same as us.

They need to look for replacements for Zarate, Muamba, De Ridder and probably McFadden before they get back to the level of the team the finished below us.

They've already added Carsley to replace Muamba, and McFadden, Zarate and De Ridder played about 15-20 games between them in 2008 so it's hardly a massive void to fill despite two of them being amongst their better players.

That and the fact that McFadden hasn't actually gone anywhere, yet
