Lower West One day he'll be a great player when he matures.......

Not a chance.

Idiot.

Lita is not the sort of player Coppell can manage, simple as. Litas ability is simply being restricted by his manager and his style of management . You'll see the right manager get the best out of him, unfortunately that is not Coppell. It happens, doesn't mean he can't and won't be a great player.

Your faith in our disfunctional, misfiring little striker who never strikes is commendable and long-lasting, particularly in the face of ever-mounting evidence to the contrary, but please, just for me, define "great" in the context you use it so I might understand how good you think he is. You know, great as in the class of a Leon Knight, a Nathan Tyson, a Paul Dickov perhaps, or a Thierry Henry, Ruud Van Nistelrooy or Michael Owen?

Steve Coppell I enquired about Watson, we looked at him. It would be good to sign him, but there is a history with me and so it's unlikely.

Also, what would we do when Marek gets back?

Have competition for midfield places?

Like it or not we already do, Coppell has answered this, we have Cisse and Bikey that can play there, add Karacan, Harper and matejovsky, and that is 5 for two positions,

If he does leave doubt it'll be Pompey as stories today suggest one or two will be leaving there as they need money.

In fantasy land, Nugent for Lita would be just luffly.

Given that Lita is black, i'd say this is a done deal.

Meh - anyway Nugent has refused to move to the CCC anyway - probably joining WBA tomorrow.

lita for little swap deal would do nicely 8)

serisouly, I am not bothered at all if lita goes - doyle and hunt will be a great front 2 (as long as doyle stays!)

I agree with others that when SC mentioned players who did not want to be here I immediately assumed one would be lita

although maybe if we had sat him in the treatment room rather than the injury room last season he would have returned to action a little quicker

Provided that Doyle stays and that Mooney has the ability to be an effective sub and occasional start, then £2m for Lita would be a good deal.

Loads of Lita sold rumours at the game, some from people with reliable sources.

Rumour on the 73b bus was that Lita and Sonko had a major bust up in training and as a result Coppell told them both they could leave.

Perhaps they plan to sell a more valuable striker and see Lita as a cheap replacement.

Agreed. I think it was becoming a bit like the Nicky Forster situation - too injury prone and on high wages. Anyway, on recent evidence, Kebe looks like he'll grow into being a very adequate replacement with a lot more speed. Just can't see Little getting a game in the Prem really.
