We will miss him a lot more than people think

Or a lot less depending on who repalces him !

Are there any good £300k wingers out there??

No idea, I doubt we're looking. We know we've got a rather higher figure on the table for a player.

Don't think anything that may or may not happen tomorrow has anything to do with the yawn....

BBC Football The futures of Robbie Keane and Andrei Arshavin are dominating so far as officials consider extending the transfer window because of the adverse weather across Britain.

BBC

1512: Championship Mole has just sent me some odds on Stephen Hunt - the bookies are big-time backing him to be a Premier League player by tonight, probably at Spurs, but possibly at Wigan. "They're not often wrong are they?" says moley. No my friend, they aren't. More's the pity.

Last odds I saw on here (seeing as I can't get onto any betting sites from work) were along the lines of:

Staying at Reading: 1/2
Off to Wigan: 4/1
Off to Spurs: 5/1
8/1 bar

(I think the source was Skybet)

Anyone care to post the latest as as far as I can see, the "big-time" backing is the "Staying at Reading" optionj.

Well N'Zogbia is going to Wigan so they can be taken out of the picture.

So it's Spurs or bust.

I actually like the fact that the deadline is 5pm. It means I can relax at night for once when it's the Transfer deadline.

They have to be able to prove that the deal had been agreed before 5pm and only the weather held up completion. I guess there won't be many of those - that's just about okay isn't it?

For what it's worth, not a sniff of a story regarding Reading or SHunt in particular on SSN since I've been watching it, which is about two hours now.

Lots of nonsense (Obafemi Martins/Darren Bent swap, for instance) but nowt of 'interest'.

yes proof being quoted as things like "emails"

Lets face it if Man United or somebody suddenly feel the urge to do a deal im sure snow will have caused them all sorts of problems

Scotland havent extended?

schools closed, trains delayed, flights delayed.... bit of snow and we fall apart, few years ago we won a oxf*rd war
