Wycombe Royal He's passed his medical according to the yellow breaking news bar on Sky Sports News.
Smith is expected to be handed a three-year deal at Madejski Stadium and could take the vacant squad number 11 following Stephen Hunt's departure.

You realise WR that, if that's true, then it's the first bit of "new" news for about 30-odd pages of this thread.... and that this update alone should keep us going for another ten pages or more.
Still, I'm sure Tommy Smith will be a good signing - I remember him from his Liverpool days (more of a tough-tackling defender then, of course)....
