Ipswich (H) (A)

by Casino_Royal » 04 Nov 2009 12:18

I've just been told that BR has got the team staying in the hotel Friday night.

That wouldn't be in the manual would it?

So if this works, he's going to foot the bill for this every week or so from his own pocket I hope.

He mentioned this in an interview with Tim Dellor. He said he'd try anything to try and get the voodoo of no home wins broken. Said if it meant staying in a hotel so it was like an away game, he would consider it.

I don't see that it's that big a deal tbh. He's trying out something new, to try and alter the players' mindset. Nothing to be lost by trying that imo.

Can kinda see the point.

Players won't like it though. Moan like fcuk if you ask them to do anything different.

They should come work for the Royal Mail, they would fit right in.

I suggest the East and West Stands pretend to support Ipswich to give it a real away game feel with only the North stand cheering for us.

I think that you mean hoodoo rather than voodoo surely?

Voodoo  . Can just see it now, the Watford chairman sticking pins into a little doll of Brendan Rodgers.

Presumably they will all kip in together to save on costs and pay for their own evening meal and brekky as this extra cost would not have been budgeted for in these difficult financial times.
