Royal Lady but what is the point of naming a player in your 25 and then sending him out on loan? Cos then you've only got 24. :|

If you name him then he's eligible to play if needed in case of injuries or suspensions etc. He might potentially still be 6th or 7th choice forward though, so it's unlikely he'll play that often.

If you send him out on loan then you're keeping him fit, putting him in the shop window, getting the wage of your books and can recall him if needed (outside of the first month of course).

Is it that hard to grasp? Why wouldn't you name him in the squad?

Big Foot
Sloth The impression I get from Jonny Fordham on Tw@tter is that there is no loan signing imminent so don't hold your breath over us getting Cox, Moore or Kightly. More news on it tomorrow apparently.

How can there be more news tomorrow if there's no loan signing imminent !?

Beats me..I assume it's the 'I'm happy with the players I have got' comment from BMcD.. :?

Give David Moyes a call and ask him why he sent Vaughan out on loan.....

or maybe Alex McLeish and ask him why he has sent Gary O'Connor out on loan to Barnsley (as it happens he could have been the big target man striker we need, oh well....)

Feck me - I only asked. Personally, I thought WBA only had a relatively small squad in any case - so I'd be surprised if Cox went on loan - that was all - there's no need to treat me like the bloody village idiot.

I live in Swindon, which defiantly has a disproportionate share of idiots. Some where there is a village with only one...

O'connor would have been a quality signing

I am given to understand that the reason Simon Cox won't be coming on loan is...Nicky Hammond...Cox won't have anything to do with him again.

Simon Cox >>>>>>>>>> Anything currently here.

He is a much better player since he left, scored goals in this division before and would absolutely benefit RFC.

Why on earth wouldn't you want him here? Even short term?
