Got about half way and got bored as I'd not seen a single decent goal - all were either tap in or just the kinds of goals you see in League 2.

Great, people on here moan that Long and Church don't convert tap ins and one on ones consistently enough and that we need a fox in the box yet we get linked to someone who takes exactly those sort of chances and he's not good enough he doesn't bang them in from 25yds every week.

In the end trust the scouts, but I'd have to agree with those that say
there was nothing very obvious in the You-Tube video to suggest a great talent.

If you put together a video of Church's 15 Reading goals it would look pretty good to music, ditto Long's best or Hunt's.

These (Dembele's) did look like quite ordinary goals against weak defences.

As I've never seen him play, yes, I would trust the scouts more than a clip on the internet. We have a decent track record of discovering players from weaker leagues. If the scouts think he's worth a punt then so be it, anyone who averages a goal a game in any European League will have something about them. If he is a natural finisher then he would definitely offer us something different to what we already have. An uninformed observer of some of the goals we've conceded this season might reasonably conclude that our defence is weak. It's all about being in the right place to capitalise on the mistakes. If the scouts think he's capable of scoring 15+ a season in the Championship , I don't care how ordinary the goals look on a highlights clip.

Bulgarian Levski's Football Star to Leave on Record Transfer

Garra Dembele, Levski's top striker. Photo by BGNES Garra Dembele, the Bulgarian Levski squad's top striker, is to leave the club during the upcoming transfer window in exchange for at least EUR 3.5 M, Todor Batkov, Chairman of the club has announced.

The luxurious deal would set a record for the team, as a Levski player has never been sold that expensive. Even though Batkov did not mention the team interested in signing Dembele, reports say German Werder Bremen and English Reading are among the candidates for the talented forward.

The prolific 24-year old French striker has put on an impressive display this season, hitting the net 26 times in 26 games so far, which leaves him with chances to grab the European Golden Boots award.

Garra Dembele, started his career as an exciting young prospect in the French team of Auxerre. He even played in the French Under-21 national squad. In October 2006, though, his career went downhill, as he was accused of raping 22-year old American student while in Rome. The raping charges were subsequently dropped, but Dembele never played in a top-level European team since this case.

Even though the striker's career seems to be getting back on track, he was recently busted driving under the influence, joining the list of more and more football players in Bulgaria, who have been involved in alcohol-induced scandals.

26/26 could be interpreted as a stat. How many minutes on the pitch, though?
Does that include penalties? What about the ratio of chances/goals?
Would he have scored more in a 4-5-1 with Gylfi behind him?

The only way RFC will spend 3.5M euros on anyone is if we receive more than that in proceeds from the sale of Jobi, Kebe, Church & Federici.
