If they offer us £100k I'll be very happy, gives us an opportunity to freshen up ths squad.
The problem with Howard is he's so inconsistent, yes he scores the odd important goal, or provides the odd assist, but nowhere near often enough tom be a very good midfielder.

loyalroyal4life This one seems like a possibility. I dont mind him leaving but only on a PERM deal

Worry he could go out on loan, play shit and then end up back with us again for next season!

Isn't he out of contract at the end of the season anyway? (Please for the love of all that's human let it be true...)

Look when we were in the bottom half of the Champ, he played. When we stopped being in the bottom half, he didn't play anymore.

Where are Barnsley?

Very good technical player but just doesn't fit how we play. He haven't used a creative central midfielder to any great effect at any point under McDermott. He's too slow and too weak to work in our set up and as I think has been said previously, he works best when the team is centred around him and that simply isn't going to happen here.

Best for all parties for him to move on I think

Agreed, but some might consider him too advanced to be considered very central midfieldery.

No real need to sell him unless Barnsley offer an acceptable amount which they won't.

I think we need Howard if we are going to give the PL a good go this season. He may only be a reserve but we cannot know how many injuries there will be.

I am not sure he will be here next season though - whether we go up (in which case he will not be good enough) or not.

I understand he was at the Barnsley game on Saturday instead of Reading watching, begging for his old job back now Hammill has gone

Which is impossible, considering he was on the bench on Saturday.

A second striker that was utterly useless on the odd occasion he was asked to play centre mid.

Not that I'd want to side track the thread but I'd be geniuenly interested how many assists The Sig got in open play. My suspicion is not many.

My apologies, I'd forgotten that he was the greatest player to ever pull on the hoops and was completely flawless

Just seen this...

You get the idea if we get a decent offer he could be off.
