Didnt hear the McD interview but why would Mr Gylfi Snr be at the training ground if not to discuss some kind of deal?

Cracking find!!

It certainly isn't out the equation based on that clip.

I want to say, Reading's academy is so good, we get solid championship players every year, reading literally only have to spend 2mil max to get certified play off's in my book. Just to get that extra bit of quality in the final third which is what every team desires. Get that bit of quality in Gylfi and im sure we'd get play off's if not higher

Tokyo Sex Whale You think that by adding just Gylfi we would realistically stand a chance of 1st/2nd?

Bit too far off the pace to be certain now, but if we'd had him from the start then yes. He was incredibly creative and offered a genuine goal threat through the middle, meaning defences would have to have worked much harder to stop him as well as Kebe and McAnuff from winning games for us.

It does annoy me that he is sitting on the bench as he is so much a better player than just to be warming a bench. Don't care who he is playing for, be it us or someone else, I just wish he was playing as people need to be made aware of actually how good he is!

Agree with Ian 1st/2nd are just out of reach, but from the start yes.

But I definitely think we would get certified play off's with him in!! We now have solid back four and solid team we just need that extra bit of quality!

I genuinely believe we should have 9 more points than we currently do based in chances, performances and disallowed goals.

Yes totally agree mate, it's not about him coming here it's about him showing his talent to the world. Not many players can hit a ball as crisply as he does. He only lacks pace and strength but then he doesn't need that!!
