"Shearers still on my case..."I know I f**ked up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious," he wrote on Twitter.
"I have a better hair(which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality (something u lack). I really don't like that p***k, in fact I honestly despise him...
"I'd take it off Hansen and @GaryLineker but not from that bell, same fella that stamped on Neil Lennon, then threatened FA if they banned him. That he would retire from international football. No sorry, not having him, never have. Selfish, boring man him. He can do one..."
Lineker then leapt to the defence of Shearer, Tweeting at Barton: "Still raging then? Still kicking out? And still, presumably, misunderstood? But only by yourself I suspect."
But the words only served to inflame the QPR star's temper, and he threatened Lineker with revelations: "do u wanna go there publicly "Mr Squeaky Clean" ? Think u should have a look in that vast closet of skeltons before u respond... I know a lot about THAT side to u the people don't and won't bat an eye lid at exposing u. So mind ur manners Squeaky... now back under your stone you odious little toad..."
Barton will serve an automatic four-match ban and he seems certain to face additional sanctions from the Football Association for his subsequent attacks which, with the add-ons for previous dismissals, could see him start next season with a nine-match suspension.

soggy biscuit Rumours that his agent has already been offering him around at a cut price fee and Reading are one of the clubs to have shown an interest

Would be cheap and someone if his quality in the squad would give other players the kick up the backside that they sometimes need

I think you should have used the  or :D soggy because people have taken you seriously and missed the point about "kick up the backside".
BTW I think he'll end up at West Ham with Big Sam.

I liked Tony Fernandes saying we are doing an investigation but we are not ruling out him playing again for QPR, which presumably translates as our lawyers are finding out how much it will cost to fire him.

Madstad to Nadderud Then why read his Twitter page? If some people stopped taking an interest and reading his comments then he really would be all alone. But if you keep reading them then of course he is going to keep courting publicity.

Why not read it? Just because I think he is a twat, doesn't mean it doesn't amuse me at times. There are plenty of twats posting on here too (maybe I'm one too?) , I still read them! To be honest though, I'm no massive Twitter user and don't exactly sit there desperate to see his thoughts; he is just someone I will have clicked 'follow' on in the past along with plenty of others I probably am not actually that interested in when I stop and think about it and he happened to be in my timeline or whatever they call it on Twitter when I signed in.

I know quite a bit about Linekers private life too, I expect he will now keep quiet. There is nothing worse than a sanctimony. Barton is never this!

I think we all know about Gary's social life, some may find it immoral. We also know quite a bit about Joey's social life, the courts found it illegal...

Mind you while I would never want that thug representing/being a liability in my hoops, I think he was entirely justified on Sunday! Joey's problem is that despite a promising youth at Man City, he's a pretty poor footballer. Some of his errors in a game are non-league. It must be frustrating. Hes no different versus Aguero and Tevez than you or I. And if I had those two rolling around, diving and generally playing "south american style", I would do the same. I'm no saint. Pros should rise above it of course, but I am no pro, and sadly neither is Joey Barton. I am happy for Gary Linker to moralise on being a professional, for he can talk in this regard, but perhaps the "ever philosophical" (LOL) Barton has a point, in that we all have our flaws. Sadly I have Gary's too :D

Barton now charged with 2 counts of violent conduct. I wouldn't want him, and at this rate you may not be available until December anyway,

I assume that will be the least of his worries. Hopefully QPR have the bottle to properly reprimand him if the F.A don't throw the book at him; for his actions on the field alone he should lose his captaincy and be given a hefty fine. But his actions on Twitter afterwards, what is this doing to QPR's reputation? Other QPR players suggesting he deliberately injures a player of another team? What a great example of sportsmanship QPR are. They need to act now to stop this pratt damaging their reputation further. If he ever plays for them again after this whole saga I'd be surprised. We all know that he would be out on his ear if he was a Reading player....

If Barton ever played for RFC I would seriously consider stopping attending matches. He is a disgrace.

+1

Brian McDermott would go from hero to zero in my eyes if he signed Barton. He most defiantly is NOT a player in the Reading mould and you can't even argue he has the skills and ability to compensate for his arrogance and temper.

At what point did you think it was worth making this up?

As you can see from the number of posts I do, I really don't have the time or will to come on here and make things up. Just saying what I was told. Sorry about that. :!:

Sorry, but there's no way this can be true. Reading have a history of buying players who will fit in with the club's attitude and mentality, and there's no-one further from that than Mr Barton. Also, he's banned for the first part of the season, so there would be no point any club buying him until January after his ban has finished.
