Rumour/Speculation - Becchio

Many reports on twitter linking us to Becchio who isn't in the Leeds squad tonight for unknown reasons.

It might make sense but I really, really do not want him here.

Decent striker tbf.

BUT

No point buying him or any other striker this window unless we start playing two up front. Alfie doesn't deserve to be out of the side as it is.

Funnily enough I do rate him, and when I have seen him play he has looked like he could play off the main striker; "in the hole" if you like.
That said, Leeds have been playing him right up front this season and he has been scoring goals.
As an option for a 4-4-1-1 I would be interested. Might have to say good bye to Noel Hunt in that scenario.
Perhaps Colin would take Gorkss and Leigertwood in exchange.

He's alright, but he's such a prick. We wouldn't have him here.

The Leeds way is not the Reading way. The home game against them last season proved that if anyone needed reminding.

Have we ever bought a player from Leeds? I can't think of one.

Without a doubt the filthiest display I've ever seen in any sport in which I have participated or spectated. Thinking about it still riles me, even though we got the three points, no idea how anyone can say they respect Colin or would welcome him at the helm here.

i agree. i was so pissed off after that match i had an extremely hard time enjoying the win. its the match that put jem out for the remainder of the season if im not mistaken? i remember being pissed off going into work later on that day and raging to my manchester united mate about leeds. theyre called dirty leeds for a reason.

No that's largely because they don't wash up north.

Has handed in his transfer notice today, purely for financial reasons according to the team.

Put himself about tbf would be the sort of player we could be doing with who would scrap for everything up front. (If Pog was injured that is).

"Leeds feels like home to me. I am very happy and I want to stay here for a very long time," Becchio told the #lufc programme. 34 DAYS AGO.

Please no, he would not improve the squad at all. All of our current first team strikers are better than him.
