royalZILLAAA Some of you in this thread sound like the clingy ex-boyfriend who w@nks off into a pair of knickers she left behind every time he 'stumbles across' her facebook profile.

Is this an unusual rersponse?

Holtby expected to join in the next 48 hours. McDermott hinting at doing deals right up to the deadline (Levy's favourite thing). Gyfli angry at being subbed yesterday.

This one is happening.

He did throw his toys out the pram when he came off. Unlike him mind you he was playing pooh so he could have no complaints.

What gets me is the endless and baseless wild speculation that somehow the magical fairy godmother will sprinkle fairy dust and bring Sigurdsson back. If there had been the faintest whiff of it in the mirror, I could understand.

Dry yer eyes, get some cream for them callouses, she's gone. Move on.

Royal Rother Quite simply he's not as good as people tend to think. A step up from Sidwell but not a really top top class player.

(Edit: Just looking back at the thread and I'd completely forgotten that I'd said pretty much the same thing last year. Must be getting old.)

Spurs are a bit overloaded in attacking talent, so he's competing with lots of players. I reckon he's good enough, but it needs to be somewhere with a little less competition for places. He's always going to struggle to keep out someone like Dempsey, who's been playing very well in the PL for years.

If he did come back I'm certain we wouldn't finish bottom three. Probably not bottom 5.

So today I was talking to no one, and he said that this deal will be happening.

Gylfi will be a Reading player once again.

What happens if he came back on Thursday, got injured at Stoke and was out for the season? Would he inspire us to safety?

Simon's Church Reckon he'll come back on loan if Spurs sign Holtby this week.

Well they've signed him, so the countdown begins.

I'm guessing it'll be announced at 21:17 31/01/13.

I personally will be disappointed if this thread has not managed to rack up at least 20 pages by Thursday 23:59. Then there is of course the additional 4 pages on Friday to analyse why it did not happen

Wouldn't stun me, but still think it's unlikely.
