The fact that Liverpool still sound serious about getting him, worries me greatly.

If they're serious then I don't think we stand much of a chance.

loyalroyal4life i can see him staying at blackpool until summer, hope we have a back up plan

if its true that he is out of contract in the summer like everyone thinks then it would be incredibly stupid for blackpool not to sell now.

They'd still get a fee, I think, but it'd be set by a tribunal and thus a bit of a gamble.

Not much of one because very little of his development has taken place there

Good afternoon all,

The Reading bid was turned down earlier this morning and according to the William Wyatt of the Blackpool Gazette they are not expecting another. Where Tom Ince is concerned Liverpool are believed to be restructuring their next bid and will again try to persuade Karl Oyston to sell later today.

There is some uncertainty by the Blackpool fans as to whether his contract has six or eighteen months to run. I suspect the latter hence the high asking fee. Could be wrong though.

Where's CamberleyRoyal when you need him?

Certainly not in the hotel lobby, that's for sure.

if we believed every journalist we would be in trouble. so far we have heard: we had an offer rejected, we withdrew our offer, we had an offer accepted, liverpool are interested, liverpool are not interested, liverpool are just trying to jack up the sell on clause, tom ince doesnt want to leave, tom ince wants to play premiership football, tom ince is on a free in the summer so they must sell. until either club comes out and says something im not sure if i believe anything the papers say, well, maybe except ssn.

Liverpool is a gamble. They are a shit ‘big’ team. He goes there, he might (a) not get the matches or (b) look as shit as everyone else playing there. He goes to Liverpool, it’s not very likely he could ever get a move to Man U, Chelsea etc.

On the other hand, he can play for us, be a bigger fish in a little pond, get regular first team football and put himself in the window for all the real big clubs to fight for him.

Better yet, dig us out of relegation, be the hero, get paid handsomely and be a part of Reading’s rise to the top of the league.

Admittedly parts of the latter are a touch ambitious.

All makes sense, but, I mean come on... sense isn't welcome in football.

She seems to be a Liverpool fan quoting the Blackpool article from this morning, not really the most credible source.

Ideal, this does you no favours at all.

And it's oh so easy to spend someone else's money, isn't it?

If I were Blackpool, I would probably just unplug the telephone, turn off the broadband router, unplug the fax machine, turn off my mobile and go and play golf for a couple of days.

And Liverpool seem to have a comical amount of people who claim to be ITK about transfers, even more than we do.
