melonhead so since they left us, who of the 106 team has done well elsewhere?

its not a good record. its a wonder anyone buys any of our players, ever

Doyle, Hahnemann, Sidwell, Shorey, Hunt and Long.

Sidwell and Shorey had some issues with being benched at Aston Villa (and Chelsea in Sidwell's case), but both had good spells at Fulham and Shorey also did excellently at Forest.

Hunt won POTS for Hull and earned a move to Wolves.

Hahnemann was excellent for Wolves for about a year.

Doyle and Long are obvious, both did well in the Premier League, starting regularly and scoring goals. Obviously Doyle has gone downhill in the past year or so.

Could probably make a case for Little, had some very good matches for Portsmouth, nutmegged Kaka. His injuries caught up with him though.

M Brook Probably the right decision.

Yep past his sell by date and needs taking of the shelves. Perhaps a charity might have him?

And Kaka hasn't been the same since.

Lovely hot donuts! Still reckon he could do a job as a back up winger in the championship if he were keen on that idea. If he's still a free agent come July he could be offered a trial like Sonko was in 2011 (I think, might have been 2010). He played like crap in a friendly at Bristol Rovers and we knew it was a bad idea and let Ipswich take that bullet so there'd be no harm in trying something similar with Stephen Hunt.

I know it won't happen but it's what I'd do.

Also noticed that Ebanks-Blake has been released who is probably still a decent championship player.

Of course if Anton provides funds and we can sign a higher calibre of player then we won't need these but if we're tight for funds again then could be worth a try?

NA would not sign any of that useless lot! They struggle to pass water let alone a ball. Hoof and hope players out.

How was he a thug?
How was he an embarrassment?

He's past his best now, but if we could have the same Stephen Hunt back that we had in the Premier League, then he'd be a good signing.

Yep same. He was a lot more useful to us at this level that McAnuff has been. He's had his day though. I expect McDermott to fancy him though.

He was one of the players who caused unrest in our relegation season. His head had been turned so he decided he couldn't be arsed & played like a cnut the last 6 months.

And we did give him a decent pay rise that season after his 'come and get me' plea on Goals on Sunday.

No thanks he can fcuk right off.
