Twitterati/Football Rumours has been quite amusing last few days-
Colin Kazim-Richards (below) and Jernade (Jernane? Jermaine?) Meade are the only things that I like the sound of and sound almost slightly credible but I've seen no legit sources.
As for the below, Some people have too much time on their hands....
Reading and Galatasaray are set to build upon their 'sister club' agreement to the advancement of both teams.
Galatasaray have discussed with Reading the option of taking Pavel Pogrebnyak on loan next year. This would mean Reading get a high earner off the books whilst having him available if they were to make an immediate return to the Premier League. It also means that Galatasaray get a quality striker at low cost. But the Russian frontman may scupper the move as he would prefer a permanent move away from the Madejski.
Galatasaray have offered Reading the opportunity to take three of their players on loan.
With Alex Pearce set to leave the Madejski, Galatasaray have allowed Reading to discuss taking centre back Ceyhun Glselam on a season long loan with the option of a permanent move if Reading were to get promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Glselam spent the end of last season on loan at Kayserispor and Fatih Terim has encouraged him to consider a move away from the Trk Telekom Arena. He will be competing with Adrian Mariappa and Sean Morrison for a starting place.
Also available to Reading is young central midfielder Furkan zal. With Galatasaray keen on buying Jem Karacan it is possible that zal moving to the Madejski would allow Karacan to depart over the summer.
Both Glselam and zal hold German nationality.
The third player available to Reading is young striker Sercan Yıldırım. Yıldırım spent the end of 2012-13 on loan at Sivasspor and they are open to him experiencing football in a different league to continue his development. Although Galatasaray will not allow him to transfer permanently he will be allowed to spend a second season at the club if they were to get promoted to the Premier League. If Pogrebnyak were to move to the Trk Telekom Arena it would push Yıldırım further down the pecking order making a loan a good option for both parties. With a handful of caps for the Turkish national team, Reading are confident that they would not have a problem getting a work permit for Yıldırım.
Reading have also enquired about the availability of taking Colin Kzim-Richards from Galatasaray permanently. The player is open to a move to the Championship after a loan with Blackburn last season and sees Reading as a good prospect to bounce back.
