PFA Free Agents

by Mr ReadingFC » 07 Jun 2013 16:15

Just checked the PFA website and a load of decent players have been released. I wouldn't mind if we picked up a couple of players on a free for a season or two. Personally, I would take Ebanks Blake and Thomas Hitzlsperger because they have bags of quality and Hitzlsperger would bring the class we desperately need. I checked this website if you wanted to take a look for yourself.

Great players have been released like:

Florent Malouda
Jermaine Pennant
Thomas Hitzlsperger
Jerome Thomas
Sylvan Ebanks Blake
Christophe Berra
Papa Bouba Diop

How old is Hitzlsperger these days, might be worth looking at

Anyone know why John Bostock hasn't lived up to the hype which previously surrounded him when he left Palace? Still only 21?

Probably listed 7 of the most overrated/unattainable on that list but okay. Baird would be decent and realistic, Bostock potentially but everyones been bigging him up for years now and he never made the cut.

Florent Malouda?? Yes please!

Also Arshavin is a free agent. Surprised we haven't heard that rumour return yet. He'd be a decent singing but expect he'll go back to Russia seeing as that's the only place where he's had any success.

Also one of Roque Santa Cruz and Carlton Cole would be great signings as far as strikers are concerned.

Funnily enough my boss just mentioned him. Said he scored some excellent goals on loan but his attitude stunk.

Upson or Jerome Thomas would be great (as well as Bridge obviously!)

Gary O'Neill has been released. Would be a good signing with plenty of experience. 30yo.

There is a rumour from somewhere The Times (???) that Arshavin has a big, big offer on the table from somewhere like Uzbekistan or something, just depends on whether he wants it and whether they have Mcdonalds there.

I've been a fan of Malouda for a few years now, he would be the perfect fit in our system. Good pro too.

His wages would be too much for the club in my opinion, but at 33 next month, ya never know?

Bostock got sent back from his loan at TFC. I mean how terrible must your attitude be if you can't make it through a loan? Didn't even last a quarter of a season....
Stay well clear!

If Pearce leaves I would take a pop on Berra or Upson - at the right wage. Both are left-sided CB's and both have abiliy.

The owner of the club already said last week that Arshavin has agreed to join them.
