It's been confirmed that we've at the very least enquired about Hooper. We wouldn't do that if we weren't willing to pay a fee around the 4/5 million mark for the right player.

We also wouldn't do that unless we wanted good PR. Adkins refused to be drawn on any player speculation today, no names, no hints, but said he expects a couple more to come in. So you think he would quite happily admit publicly we want Hooper? Perhaps you're the cretin if you believe everything a journo says.
