Reading4eva I understand that Derby are considering a move for Gunter who doesn't fit in our plans. Geoff at the Swan mentioned this before our pint!

I didn't think your rumours could get any worse but this one's an absolute shocker. For a start Derby haven't got the money to get him, and he is clearly in Adkins plans as he favours an offensive wing-back.

They do have money after selling full back John Brayford to Cardiff for £1.5m. So, they have money and the need for a new full back.....

umm what? why would we sell him for such a small amount of money? that would be shooting ourselves in the foot. big time.

That's only £1m less than what we paid for him, and I don't expect we're in the business of giving away our key players. Cummings would have been a more believable choice of player to bullshit about leaving.

For once i'm actually glad I saw Reading4eva at the top of the page. Was slightly worried when I saw the title but the poster completely erased the doubt

Leeds fans, Sheff Utd fan coming in peace.

I have heard that all is not well at your club. I don't know if it's the manager that is unhappy or there's been a fall out somewhere, but McDermott has told close friends that he isn't sure if he can take Leeds forward and "feels let down".

Sorry I don't have more than that at the moment but I have been reliable in the past with news on McCormack joining you, and Paddy Kenny.

McDermott is a good manager but when Reading were taken over, he almost quit until he got assurances he didn't have to sell to buy, and the new owner would let him do his job with no interference. From what I'm hearing, that's exactly what he's found himself with at Leeds.

Good luck next season btw. Hopefully you can go back up!

If he has doubts he should leave before the season starts. If he walks 10 games in (or worse, gets the push) with Leeds at the bottom of the table he'd find it hard to get another job in the Champ IMO.

RUMOUR: Danny Kedwell

by Reading4eva » 30 Jul 2013 20:58

Keith at The Grovsenor Caversham believes Kedwell is likely to be signed as a squad player. Decent player from my book seems to score a lot of goals unproven at this level though. I drank Guiness whilst Keith supped on Stella. Had the Sizzler mixed grill too, very good value although the chicken was a bit pink for my liking
