So what are the other leagues about then?

As for having a bottom six attack, that is quite frankly, laughable.
NO - Our supposed Attack is laughable! Even mid-table teams have better Strikers than us - check out Blackburn or Burnley. You can't argue with an idiot

We know, we aren't arguing with you!

Yes, but hope I am wrong.

Lots of noise about new signings when the club were pushing season ticket sales but it has now gone v quiet.

I do think we have a good squad to be fair but am worried about our striking options. I hope Blackman can step up.

When AZ mentioned 5-7 new faces last month, I wonder whether he was including HRK and Pearce in those numbers?

The transfer window doesn't close for over a month. Stop panicking people.

NewCorkSeth You can and it is much more fun!

Arguing with an idiot is a sure fire way to end up looking like an idiot, no matter how right you are.

Right now I am equally worried about shipping 5 goals in a game and a half to Swansea and the Bristol Rovers as I am about not scoring in our last 2 and a half games. I know, I know, it is only preseason, but still...not that far off from the point that the games actually count. :o

I think it closes on the evening of 2nd October this season, so there's plenty of time for us to lose a few games to shake Anton into parting with some money.

out of interest where did the notion that Anton doesnt want to spend money come from? A huge amount of fans seem to think he has a tight grasp on the purse strings, which is completely unfounded. Since his takeover we have spent plenty of money! His side of Brians sacking was that Brian hadnt spent enough money during the January window? He wanted money to be spent last Jan so why would he have changed his mind by now?

I haven't said there isn't money being spent on the club, but when it comes to transfers we remain very frugal in the transfer market.

Number one priority should be a forward, an attacking midfielder would be a bonus. Before anyone pipes up, Drenthe is a winger.

ahh i see but I dont think Anton is any bit to blame still! I imagine he has given a very generous budget and it is up to Hammond and Adkins to spend it!

I think the lack of spending is more down to those two trying to get their targets for a reasonable fee as is the clubs ethos
