We can sing "Domo Arigato, Mr. Loboto" if we sign him. So yes, I'm in.

maffff
NewCorkSeth Wouldn't a 4-3-3 really take away from our wingers who can really thunder down the line? McCleary in particular?

Put McCleary on the left and he likes to cut in and looked good as an inverted inside forward... we looked more dangerous with the 'wingers' closer to the striker at the end of last year.

But McClearys best quality is his fantastic crossing! I know he can dribble like theres no tomorrow and that long shot of his was a beaut of a goal last season but hes very effective along the touchline. So is Jimmy Kebe.

Really? I thought he looked best when running at the defence and having a crack. I think all our wingers are pretty good at cutting in and could play as wide forwards comfortably. Jobi's weak shooting can be an issue, but I think his better team play would make up for that.

Sounds like this guy was one of the deals that fell through in the final days of the window - due to a failed medical:

Interesting that we were looking for another winger as we look quite well served in this area with McAnuff, Drenthe, Obita, HRK, McCleary, Blackman.

TheBaldOne heard this from my mate who lives in Spain and is a Barca fan. He also says he was considered more of an attacking left back/ winger at barca.

would make a little more sense

if it wasnt all a big lie

I have been told we are back in for him subject to another medical.

He appears to have made good progress from his injury
