My first recollection of him was that he was quite like Alf except more mobile, made a lot good runs and held the ball up better. Then he just became anonymous, no doubt because he was injured.

Took an exceptionally poor penalty.

Sharp is just a less good Le Fondre tbh, thoroughly uninspiring plodder.

Le Fondre is a better finisher but Sharp has a bit more finesse and skill to his play in my opinion. A bit more creative.

With Cox and Mackie signed, it seems unlikely Sharp will follow.

Plenty are in favour of Sharp. He's another Adkins man, like Hammond, and the guy's on a free. We're not going to be throwing large sums around! It makes perfect sense. I just can't see the same experience and quality coming from anywhere else at that value?

What value. He was average with us and would probably demand 15/20k a week..

He was also injured for the most part with us. Adkins knows what he's getting from him. On a free, and on less wages than that, it works for me. Otherwise it's £1m+ on someone else who wont have his experience at this level. If we find another Kitson, then fair-do's, but it's unlikely.

We don't need Sharp. Very much same similar player to Cox. If we get another forward we need some pace & mobility !

Roberts at Chesterfield is someone we were watching last season. He'd do, and probably not cost the earth.

Good player but he is a left-winger-wouldn't mind him.
