Cardiff City have terminated Magnus Wolff Eikrem’s contract at the club with immediate effect.
Eikrem, a product of the Manchester United academy, moved to south Wales to link up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – who had coached him at Old Trafford and at Norweigen side Molde.
A club statement read: “Cardiff City can confirm Magnus Wolff Eikrem’s contract was terminated by mutual agreement. The player leaves with immediate effect. We would like to thank Magnus for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future.”
