Return of Le Fondre

by Reading4eva » 22 Jan 2015 08:11

Have heard a rumour this morning that ALF is linked with a move to either us, Huddersfield or Norwich.

Can't imagine even the laughing stock of Cardiff City selling him for less than the £3million they originally paid. Thought it might be rubbish but posted it anyway to get your views

Where did £3M come from? Was under the impression it was only £1.5M

Maybe they gave him a £1.5m signing on fee?

Can probably see a homecoming for him - when I say home I mean his other club up north - not ours.

Would have him back in a heartbeat. We should never have sold him & we should have found someone else - anyone else to sell.

We've massively regretted it ever since IMO.

His partnership with Heskey will be devastating.

You mean that or being ironic?

I love smash-n-grab partnerships

Robson-Kanu and Blackman surely?

Sorry, that's Flatter & Deceive partnership, not Smash & Grab.

Roberts & Hunt too. Will never forget that goal just before HT at west ham away when Roberts just literally bludgeoned his way through and Hunt stuck it in the net
