I've heard Reading have been looking at Christy Fagan from St Patricks Athletic.

Sutekh Gladwin at Sw*nd*n looked useful last night..... might be worth a punt if they miss out.

He could be ace - from Reading originally too I think

Have you bumped into him in Swindon?

Apparently Forest are already there and given their location, drive etc. must stand a chance.

But the release flow is increasing as Blackpool have retained just 10. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32794959

Forest may be very restricted in terms of what deals they can offer players as they are under a transfer embargo.

Blackpool's departing 17
Andre Blackman, Peter Clarke, Tomasz Cywka, Steven Davies, Nathan Delfouneso, Joel Dielna, Bobby Grant, Gary MacKenzie, Tony McMahon, Jacob Mellis, Nyron Nosworthy, Darren O'Dea, Elliot Parish, David Perkins, Jeffrey Rentmeister, Saer Sene and Francois Zoko.

Tomasz Cywka & Nathan Delfouneso anyone? O'Dea is meant to be much better than the player we saw on loan for us a few years ago too

They've still managed to give him a four year contract...

How about Mellis, we've been without a distasteful local psycho for a few years now.

I'd take Darren O'Dea for a season.

We'd have to install airport scanners at the training ground.

It's not as simple as that though, he may be free but they still can't sign him without letting someone go first unless their squad is less than 24 player, which it isn't and they are very restricted on what wages they can offer him, either 75% of the leaving player's wages or a maximum of 600k per year, whichever is lower, probably the 600k, which works out to 11.5k per week.

They are offering him a contract, it still has to be approved by the football league like every transfer, if it doesn't comply with their embargo, they won't approve the signing.

Which may help our chances (or anyone else's) of getting Mackie back.

Back in January, Forest were talking in terms of still being able to sign 2 free transfers despite the embargo because there was enough room in their squad. Also, Lascelles and Darlow are already on their way to Newcastle.
