Tommio I thought we decided that he doesn't confirm, he reports.

that was just winch being a pedantic little school girl

Still right though 8)

Pedants usually are. 8)

We have to make an effort to stop Jay thinking everything he reads is 100% fact Woodley. It's for his own good.

Is pedantry usually the preserve of 'little school girls?'

I'd argue that the'little' is unnecessary, surely in this context the term 'schoolgirl' is more than adequate.

I've never seen pedantry as a gender issue personally. Most pedants I've known have been middle aged men tbf.

'Most' implies that >50% of pedants in the world post on Hob Nob Anyone?, which I'm sure you'll agree is an utterly ridiculous hypothesis.

I think you'll find the comment was limited to pedants Norfolk has known , rather than the global population of pedants.
Of course he may be incredibly well connected in pedantry circles.....

It might also be worth pointing out to the OP on the pedantry point, that 'schoolgirl' is one word, not two.

To be fair, 'most' doesn't imply it, it directly states it.

I'm not convinced by the second comma. The two statements it links are both complete sentences.

You are correct, and I will not to edit the original. I haven't decided between stubbornness, laziness, or poetic license.

Hennessy is due to sign for West Brom tomorrow with Palace set to sign Alex McCarthy too. Could mean we go back in for Myhill with Bond to go out on loan for first team football

Seems unlikely we'd sign someone then ship them out on loan because a possible earlier target became available again.

After publishing an item on the website today saying he is competing for the No 1 spot?

I think we've made our keeping decisions and it would be pointless to revisit them. Bond would right feel utterly betrayed if we shipped him out.
I think we've got a good blend of experience and potential and probably at reasonable cost. Myhill would probably be an upgrade, but the money is better spent filling the positions we are still short in
