Championship is a little better than the league he's in mate.... I wouldn't expect you to know that of course.

Just had a look at the Forest Green Rovers website. Parkin's profile shows he is 34.

Season 2014/5, league appearances 42. Goals 25. Cup app. 5 Goals 5.
Season 2015/6, League app. 29, Goals. 13 Cup app. 2, goals 0.
Not a bad record for an old'un, but he will be 35 half way through next season. Doubt he would be able to get any where near those stats in the Championship though, so a case of "don't call us, we'll call you"!

Helped FGR to second place in the National League Premier so next season they could be in League 2 if they win the play offs.
