Also linked with bringing in Sam Amo-Ameyaw from Saints too. Player Selles gave a debut to as a 16yo when there.

Interesting. 17 (18 next week) yr old Sam is a winger/no. 10 so, if any good, would be good competition in a key area. Played once in the PL and thrice in the Championship.

Could all be bollocks of course and argument could be made about looking to blood Akande or give Camara/Tuma more time but neither have played at the level he has at such a young age.

Just nice with the news yesterday that there may be light at the end of the tunnel, that we are being linked with players and moves that seem sensible, even if the moves are all rubbish.

The new Twitter account that "broke" the Couhig news has said Ballard is a done deal pending the takeover and that we also have a winger in his mid 20s lined up who had a very good season last year. Again poss bollocks but a refreshing change of pace to be able to even think about this sort of thing and not if the wages have been paid.

Would have loved to have seen Ballard playing towards the end of the season when the team had their confidence up again
It was a shame that he only played when everything was going tits up and it was everyman for himself so you saw his potential but he didn't have a team round him who had any idea what was happening
