Clyde1998 I’d take £9m for him tbh, although I’d be very disappointed to see him go. He’s out of contract in the summer.
Hopefully that would allow us to bring in a couple of players (even on frees or loan).
Jeriel Dorsett played centre-back in the EFL Trophy, so I wonder if Ruben is planning for a future without Bindon already.
He’ll go on to play at a high level and wouldn’t put it past him going on to Premier League level.

If true it would be a shame but this is how we have to operate moving forward. 9M is a big figure and will let us sustain the academy and our safety for at least 2/3 seasons. Would be nice to have a percentage of future sales thrown in as well.

Only it won't will it?
I suspect it will end up like the Olise money, allowing the bastard Dai to cling onto the club even longer without bothering to sell and without putting any of his own money into the running costs.

This unfortunately.
I have been convinced from day one that he is destined for much higher and we should thank whoever spotted him in the first place.
Quite a bit of the John Stones about him.
The best centre-back prospect we have had for years-the last really good one was Steve Wood who we sold to Millwall and but for injuries IMHO would have had a good career at the top level.

Agreed on whoever scouted him out. He’s looked quality from day 1. Wonder who it was. We have some very keen talent spotters in and around the academy

windermereROYAL Bit irresponsible of the OP to post a rumour without stating where it actually came from.

Sutekh Hope whoever buys him loans him back for the rest of the season.
