Hound Don’t think there was likely a fire sale - more just the sale of a couple of our best players. Still think Bindon and Garcia won’t be with us after 3rd

£100k a week would be an annual wage budget of £5.2m... ? Which is probably actually a little low.
I reckon our income is about £10m, and our wages are probably around 70%-80% of that. So about £7.5m.

Yes sorry I meant the offer would be about 50k for Craig. Can’t see it being much higher

Get out. £500k min.
Zero point selling anyone for less than £200k as it won’t keep us affloat or save much wages

Royal_jimmy Not sure our wage bill is £7.5-8m considering we have maybe 22 first team players and the average league one salary is £3k a week. Supposing ours is a bit higher at £5k/week and you have to bear in mind that we have a lot of youngsters too who will be on sub £2k/week .
Say £5k a week x 22 = £5.7m. Other staff costs won't be that much really, say £0.5-0.7m so £6.5m max and that's putting in a likely higher playing staff wage bill. So I'd say £100k a week isn't very wide of the mark.
