Yeah but I've changed tack a bit now m8 - I'm doing a frim and moving the goalposts to say he was more important to the team when he was with us, than Connolly, Afobe and Cywka have been.

If it is my opinion that all of the world leaders are giant lizards disguised as humans, then you are well within your right tell me that my opinion is wrong. Any opinion which asserts a fact can be wrong, if the fact it asserts is wrong.

On matters of taste and aesthetics it becomes a bit hazier, but it is very definitely possible (and frequently necessary) to criticise an opinion for being wrong or praise it for being right.

If you want your opinions to be completely disassociated from facts, then it is quite likely that you'll spend a lot of your life being told that your opinions are wrong, or stupid.

"You" refers to "one", rather than you specifically, RL, by the way.
