Ignore what Ian Royal says, he was the same Nobber who claimed I'd lied about the reasons behind Greg Halford's sudden departure when I revealed why, only for it to be confirmed months later by Kevin Dillon and Wally Downes at a STAR Fans Forum.

You'd say that regardless. I just refuse to blindly believe what nobbers say without some sort of reason to trust them.

What was the reason? I thought it had been confirmed as because he just wasn't very good and thought he should stroll into the team, as much as anything.

As I wasn't at a STAR Fans Forum I cannot comment on what Dillon and Downes said, but I think it would be highly unlikely that they would have revealed the reason I am aware of that Halford was shipped out.

I've heard from someone "ITK" that Harper IS going to West Ham, however.

I think Harper leaving would be a positive for us. It is common knowledge that our central midfield is a problem so if Harper leaves it gives us the chance to form a new midfield. He has been part of our central midfield for many seasons and if he stays he will be a regular in it again. A new approach is the way formward and the money we will receive will enable us to get in a decent replacement (whether that happens is an entirely different discussion).

This is Readinf FC afterall. We sell a player for £3million, we replace with a player costing £300K.

If there was any truth to it Coppell would not have let his best mate sign Halford.
