We seem to have got more from Smith than we did for Holmes, McIntyre, Abbey and Vickers combined.

So to then lose Bindon as well, especially with Mbengue out would be devastating.

Not to mention frustrating having refused offers for Garcia and Knibbs.

If it's true, you'd think there's a decent chance of a loan back. He wouldn't make a Forest appearance this season.

Unless they sent him to Rio Ave to join Abbey again.

Nope, just the rumour so could all be *******. He’ll probably leave late Monday though. Just have to hope the club can then get him back on loan and that the FL agree it.

I've been told that this is very real, the only remaining negotiation is the loan back.

A club whose last published accounts showed a £5M loss whilst in League Two has just signed our #1 Striker for an alleged £2M and followed that up by paying a 35 year old Championship striker and alleged £15k a week.

But this is all fine and normal

No wonder nothing makes sense anymore

Sounds like all agreed with loan back.

Have to look at bigger picture with this; unlike Smith, Bindon is out of contract in 4 months and may have made it clear he was not going to sign a contract extension so sale plus loan back is best deal.

Loan back certainly softens the blow, and gives Holzman, Kanu and Stickland more time to develop into a replacement.

Yep. Done deal. We apparently got a good fee and a very good sell on clause as well. Looking at bring in a striker on loan, along with an option of free agents after the window shuts. EFL are giving us the dispensation to do so.

Be a real shame to see Bindon go, but we were only ever going to be a stepping stone for him. He'll go on to have a great career at the very top, I'm sure.

After the past 18 months I don't trust any ITKs, please don't take it personally. But if this is all true, it's a really good deal given his contract and good news about the potential for reinforcements too.

This is why I'm skeptical. When the ITKs report good news it's invariably wrong. They only get it right with bad news.

If true then fine. Best case scenario if a sell on as well

Hope so. Not sure Forest is the best place for that given they seem to buy players like they're collecting action figures. Hopefully they don't get bored of him and move on to the next shiny new toy.

I don't take it personally. If I hear something, I pass it on as it has been told to me. The source has been reliable so far.

Well if they do let's hope they move him on for £50m!!!

Great, another 6-9 months for the cuckoo to remain presiding.

Not to mention frustrating having refused offers for Garcia and Knibbs.

Do you want us to have zero players left and be in league two?

Garcia should have been sold but why Knibbs?

:|

Knibbs plays midfield and wing. We have other first teamers who can play those positions to a good standard.

Not really so much CB and ST.
