What's his goal record like in the championship? He's been promoted at least once (twice I think) and been one of the leagues top players. He's also bagged double figures and assist's to go with that consistently in the champ.

If any team in the champ gets Carlton Cole they will be stronger for it.

We need power and pace upfront to stretch teams, give us an outlet and hold the ball up. Our squad has got plenty of goals in it, we've just got no focal point to pin teams back in their half. In my opinion a Carlton Cole or Cameron Jerome type player would give us this.
