We kinda need a younger left back though, sure we have bridge, maybe kelly for cover but both of them arent going to be here in a years time most likely, need a youngster who can learn under the likes of bridge leaving us a capable lb around when the elder players leave.

Good point, it does make sense.

That would be an ideal situation, it seems like he has the raw talent - pace, bit of technique. Learning, as you said, under the likes of Bridge might well be something he'd be happy with.
