Hahnemann's Hairdresser
West Stand Flash
Sickboy If Wenger had just signed an unknown 23 year old Maltese international for Arsenal then every one would assume he had just unearthed another gem, when we do it everyone is up in arms. I really wish some of the negative c**nts on here would get a grip.

Biggest LOL ever.

Is that because Arsene Wenger has a proven track record of signing quality unknown players. What is Coppell's far far apart from Doyle?

Hmmm I think I know who the '****' is now.

Long
Kitson
Hunt
Ingimarsson
Sonko
Bikey
Convey to some extent

All taken from lower leagues and turned into Premiership players.
for a modest 650k, I wouldn't be writing off Cisse yet, either.

Well they are trying to get people to sign up to the txt service so it's a done deal!!

Funny how Coppell said he wouldn't sign anyone from abroad in Jan cause we didn't have time to let players settle in.

Touch wood this guy won't turn out to be yet another let down from us in the market. Yeah Doyle and Kits were a bargain but we've signed a lot of duds since then.

Lol at people saying what a terrible signing this is and lol at people who say what a great signing this is.

How do people know??!! What makes him a typical Coppell signing? That we've never heard of him or that he'll never play for the 1st team?

But why did Coppell say he would not buy from abroad in Jan cause of all the reasons we've discussed and then go and sign to players from abroad?

Is this yet another case of us not getting who we wanted?

Plus again he sounds like someone they are gonna say plays a number of positions but never actually makes in any. Remember all the Fae can play right wing stories?

Reading have agreed a deal to sign Malian international forward Jimmy Kebe.
The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has agreed a deal to join The Royals.
Steve Coppell wants Kebe now, rather than waiting until the summer, and his current club Lens have agreed to an immediate transfer. But there is a major problem as Kebe is currently on a season-long loan to second division Boulogne - who do not want to release him early.

Now Kebe is hoping that the deal can be concluded this month to let him go to Reading.
"I did not expect to get a chance like this so early, but I went to the coach [Coppell] and spoke with him directly - which apparently Boulogne did not like so much," he told Football365 in France.

Hope

Kebe is shocked Boulogne are standing in his way.

"I thought that when Reading was going to agree with Lens, everything will be settled," he said.

"When I went to see the coach, I thought he would be happy for me and he was going to let me go. I did not think it would go so far.

"I have always dreamed of going to England, this is an opportunity to play against the likes of Arsenal or Manchester United, to face players like Cristiano Ronaldo. It is the chance of my life.

"This can only be beneficial for my progression, I said this to Philippe Montanier [Boulogne boss] but for the moment it has stopped."

Kebe says Coppell's personal touch won the day for him.

"I had several offers, but the coach didn't necessarily call me - but the coach at Reading did," he added.

"Steve Coppell called me and told me he wanted me and that is obviously

Don't think anybody is saying it's a great signing. They're saying he looks like he could be a good one given the scant evidence we have.

Much better than those writing it off straight away.

I agree, just would like to see more rational discussion rather that it always descending into two corners one saying he's shit the other that he's great.

That's not what HobNobs for though!!

So is he a midfielder, a striker or a right winger? I think we need specialist players rather than utility signings imo. Players who play out of position don't make it in the Prem imo.

Not sure about what language the music acompanying that video is but i'm fairly sure, at about 1min 55, it fades out with "Shite, shite, shite, shite, shite".

Hopefully not indicative of the player.

I know that, it's just badly worded at parts. One part make it sound like we phoned him and said "we want you" and then we approached the coach. As I said, it's poorly worded.
