Birmingham have signed Robbie Keane, so I doubt they'll want to spaff another £1.5 - 2 million on untried Austin.

Liking the sounds of this. Be happy with using Mooney and / or Davies as part of an exchange, I don't think it would be particularly pulling one over on them either....

Not sure I'm quite as happy with the idea of flogging Fed to fund it though.

It's not ideal, but if we had to lose one player to fund it Feds would be my choice - Mooney has gone to Colchester and the value of Davies can't be that much.

missed that, I guess Davies's star has definitely wained. Fed's probably the best option who's likely to draw big money I'll grant you. I can think of a fair few players I'd be less upset to see leave and who I think we could replace more safely though.

Fed is invaluable to our squad and a travesty if sold. If that was the deal to make it happen, it can do one.

I'd be surprised if we let him go yet. Gunnarsson hasn't got a future here, Mooney and Davies could all be appealing to Swindon.
