Was probably at their home ground (Richmond way) where all their teams play except their first team. They were playing London Welsh there in a preseason and train there.

We've signed plenty of players in the past at extremely short notice and one or two have been absolute cracking deals !

You know what - I am sick of this!! I wish someone would have the balls to speak out and tell us what exactly is happening - I know people will say "they don't owe us fans anything blah blah blah" but this is bloody cringe worthy!!! One minute he's coming, the next Reading have withdrawn their offer, then he's had a medical and apparenty passed it and now our offer has been matched by Portsmouth and we are now going to be well and truly shafted out of signing this player!!!

Sadly RB, rumours are abound, started on here sometimes, and they fuel more rumours, throw in some Champman players from this board, and the interest booms. A 70 odd page thread about one so-so player, lazy journo's see site traffic massively increase on a site, it's a easy story. Keyboard warriors on here see the same rumours rehashed and it begins to become a fact, which then increases the traffic, and we're off again.
We can only rely on facts, and there have been precious few of them on here, which doesn't surprise me. It would be a pretty immature company to do it's deals in the wide open.
