I'd even consider Mr Bean.

If Brian does go, I want Glenn Hoddle for some reason

I've heard the guys name banded about today and Di Matteo will not come to Reading. He won the champions league 6 months ago and is being tipped to replace Allegri at Milan ffs.

I heard a Blackburn fan on Talksport last night ranting on about Henning Berg being a 'yes' man to the Venky's. Brian is the equivalent with the Zingarevich's and if Anton decides to get rid, it will be another yes man appointed (probably a ruski)

Please:
Someone totally un-connected with the club (had enough of Nicky's yes men)
Someone who has played/managed in the Top division
Someone who is not mates with any of the current squad
Someone who does not give undue respect to past achievements
(i.e. not someone satisfied with where we are)
And most importantly someone prepared to tell those at the Club that do not know what they are doing - just that.
So basically we are stuck with what we already have!

Best odds I have seen are William Hill 7/1 on BM getting the chop. Sounds good to me!!

I think it might be somebody who could be considered a yes man to his employers. Call me old fashioned, but I know I don't choose staff who I think are going to disagree with me.

I want David Beckham.

Barry the bird boggler Never a particular fan of the style we play since Brian took over but this is probably more down to the total lack of a plan B than the choice to use wingers. The insistence of team spirit and working hard over everything is particularly stupid at this level

Personally I think if/when we're just as crap at Sunderland he should go.

There should have been a change after the Villa game!

Shearer wants an in at a Premiership club. Risk it maybe but he'll have them playing proper football, and he's been there and seen all the egos. Better him than a Curbishley or current Championship manager.

Anybody new will be done in the Reading way. Therefore two possibilities - a russian who can work with AZ or a young up and coming manager from the league one/championship who is hungry and prepared to accept his chaiman/owner's way of doing things. no guarantee that anything will get better than what we have now!

Si Matteo won't come here. He has won the Champions League and will get a shot at another big club in England or Italy before the end of the season.

Would go for Curbishley. Even though he has been out of work for a while, still knows his stuff and how to win a relegation fight. Also has a good track record of promotions fom the Chump. Really think he is the best we will get unless Anton goes for a top manager and gives him squallions of quid to spend...although I cannot see that happening.
