I've heard the same.

Can't divulge the sauce but suffice to say it's someone better placed than me who I trust implicitly.

As well as Danny Simpson? Or instead of? Or was the Danny Simpson thing just a wind up? Or is this whole thread a wind up?

Just assume everything is always a wind-up. And I'm talking life in general.

Confirmed. Russell willington.

READING MAKE SWOOP FOR PREMIERSHIP ACE

Reading FC have completed the signing of Newcastle ace Russell Willington on a three year deal.

The 20 year old defensive midfielder who has signed for an undisclosed fee was on loan to Accrungton but failed to make many starts due to injury.

"He is a promising young player who we are delighted to bring to the club. This hopefully underscores our ambition." said John Madejski.

Brian McDermott added "We've been watching him for a while and he fits in perfectly. He's the right sort of player for us and we're delighted to have signed this Premiership player."

Er, yes, no and maybe. Simpson was as a result of someone saying we were talking to NUFC, and me saying it was Simpson. Whilst I don't know it was him, seemed logical as we were sniffing in the summer. I hadn't said it, someone else would have, after all none of us want to think it was Shola Ameobi (perennial supersub). Sidwell has only just been mentioned, but I think if that was true we'd all go bananas. If this is a wind up then you can blame Reading Chronicle as the WUM as they started this whole bloody fervour in the first place!!!

Harsh on Sidwell Brenders. Of anyone who has let his contract run down Sidwell did his best inthe circumstances. Could ask for no ore than that. Shorey is more on the money.

Yep. That pretty much sums it up. We are talking to an unspecified Premier League player/club (depends on interview) about an unspecified matter and hope to have an as of yet unspecified result at some unspecified point in time. Clear?
